Our 2.65 Prerunner kit not only guarantees comfort and traction on any terrain but also provides much-needed stability and load-handling capacity when you need it most. Apart from the original leaf springs, it has been designed as a full replacement and upgrade solution — replacing your existing suspension, maintaining correct load points and geometry for an ultimate performance system.

Remote reservoirs
The remote reservoirs on the rear axle not only increase suspension travel but also ensure thermal stability and strength during long off-road journeys. Even under high load or extreme conditions, they deliver consistent, fade-free damping performance.
Improved handling on tarmac and every other surface
The precisely tuned degressive valve stacks reduce sway and control body movement on top-heavy camper vans. Steering precision and straight-line stability are improved, while bump absorption is dramatically enhanced. The result is improved control, confident handling, increased traction, and a smoother, more comfortable drive.

The Prerunner kit consists of four 2.65" Prerunner shocks equipped with racing technology, exclusively developed by 4x4 Proyect to deliver superior handling in all conditions. Rear frame reinforcement brackets add strength and allow for the installation of additional coilover support springs where required. The brackets install as a bolt-on solution. Designed for lift heights from 0"–2", the shocks come standard with self-adjusting digressive valving that adapts to any terrain while maintaining full control and stability. All required mounting hardware is included for straightforward installation.

- Optional coilover springs increase rear ride height by up to 50mm and improve load support.
- True monotube performance with 60mm pistons and 2.65" shock bodies for maximum heat dissipation and durability.
- Oversized FK Rod End bearings (size 12) rated to 78,000 lbs, increasing lifespan by up to 150%.
- Exclusive CCV valve system prevents cavitation and provides bottom-out protection on rough terrain.
- Ultra-hardened 22mm and 28mm piston rods with 61–63 HRC surface hardness for exceptional durability.
- High-capacity external reservoirs minimise pressure spikes and stabilise shock temperature.
- Billet aluminium safety cap protects nitrogen fill port for long-term reliability.
