Dual Front Recovery Points–When You Need It
This pair of front recovery eyes is suitable for Volkswagen Transporter T5 and T6 models. Both parts are galvanised (thick layer passivated) with base parts made from C45 steel. The set replaces the original right-side recovery eyelet with a stronger version and creates a new attachment point on the left side. Both brackets and screw-in eyes are identical, with forged red eyes rated at approximately 12 tonnes breaking load (depending on pull direction). A guide tube makes installation easier, even in low light conditions.

- Breaking load approx. 8t/eyelet (varies by pull direction)
- Bolts to longitudinal frame at existing holes; drilling required only in bumper
- Recommended: always use both eyelets with a V-shaped strap (3–4 m) and soft shackles, pulling in-line with the eyelets
- Not suitable for crosswise pulling; reduced load capacity when pulling sideways
- Do not use rigid traction devices (steel rope, Dyneema rope, etc.) for dynamic loading
